Should I purchase travel insurance? What does it cover?
We recommend you purchase travel insurance to further protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. For your convenience, we offer a travel protection plan provided by the Travel Insurance Compay.
Benefits include coverage for trip cancellation (for a covered reason), interruption or travel delays, missed connections, lost or delayed baggage, and emergency medical & evacuation coverage if you become ill or are quarantined while traveling. However, it does not provide coverage for trips that are cancelled solely due to travel advisories/restrictions, or fear of getting ill. The policy contains exclusions and limitations
What if I change my mind or want to cancel my trip?
Please read our terms and conditions in regards to rescheduling or canceling. Just remember that once you make a payment you are also securing your accommodations upfront, your tours/excursions, yacht rentals etc.
We begin to prepare for your trip immediately to ensure that you have a smooth and seamless luxury vacation trip. This is why we need advance notice if you are going to cancel your trip. We provide solutions such as free and flexible trip transfers, credits for future trips and more when we are given early notice of cancellation. Unforeseen situations may present themselves to our guests and for those circumstances, situations and occasions we HIGHLY recommend that you purchase travel insurance for additional protection.
What if I want to change my trip?
We’re super flexible! Simply email info@solotravelersunite.com at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your selected trip. All payments including the deposit will roll over to your new trip.
Can I come alone or do I have to come with someone?
Come solo or bring a friend – its completely up to you! We also offer personal group trips if you do have your own group of friends that love to travel. We curate packages for you to ensure that your group makes the best out of their vacation.
How will I know my destination is safe and open for travel?
Our team does a thorough research for each destinations current covid restrictions, rules and laws for tourism. We only choose places where we are welcomed. Some restrictions may apply to unvaccinated travelers. If you are not vaccinated, please ensure that you are allowed in a specific country without the need to quarantine, before you pay your deposit.
Are men allowed on group trips?
Of course!! We welcome all to join us on these bucket List trips. We have different categories to fit your travel needs. We provide unisex trips for both men & women. But we also have gender specific trips.
Double occupancy means you will be paired with another solo traveler of your choice or with a friend, or chosen by us. We will only place you with the same gender for unisex trips. Single occupancy means that you have your own room -which there is an additional cost at checkout.
Note: If you did not choose the singe room option at check out and wish to do so at a later date, we may accompany you if it is done early enough.
What is the average group size for your trips?
Our group sizes typically run between 6- 7 people.
What ages are allowed on the trips?
We allow anyone who is 18+ to join our groups. We do not discriminate against age.

Are COVID-19 vaccinations required?
As long as the country you choose to visit with us does not require for you to be vaccinated without having to undergo quarantine upon arrival, then it is fine with us. We do not discriminate against anyone’s personal choices
But if you plan on traveling to a destination that requires you to be vaccinated upon entry. You will need to comply with the requirements of that destination and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to departure to avoid circumstances that may occure.
What if I can’t make a scheduled payment?
We understand some months can be harder than others., and we provide flexible payment plans.
NOTE: You cannot skip the first and last payment. If you need to skip a month send us an email at info@solotravelersunite.com and please inform us!
All payments must be completed by the final payment deadline to ensure your spot on the trip.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes! We can accommodate all diets, allergies and dietary restrictions, just make sure to let us know. Prior to your arrival we will send out an inquiry form to gather all the necessary information to prepare for your trip.
